Crunchy, Cold Start to Day

Dad sent me out of the house yesterday morning to take pictures of the ‘crunchy ice’ while the school bus was warming up. I got some real neat photos of the texture in the ice, the frost sticking out of it, and the funky shapes the ice curved into. One of the pictures I got was the rings in the ice moving away from the snow in the middle. After I got a picture, I would step on the ice. That way I got pictures and the crunchiness. Dad was annoyed because I got some awesome pictures and then destroyed the ice so he couldn’t take pictures later but, hey, I’M A KID!

I asked Dad to put the pictures on my Web site for me. That way I can show off my work and it helps with my 4-H photography project for next year, too. I love taking pictures!

April 19, 2013 Update:

Dad kicked me outside with a camera again this morning, so there is a second album of pictures under the first now.
